Build an Accountant Website — No Coding Required

Build an accounting firm website without coding using Lovable. Service pages, client intake forms, credentials, and SEO — live in 30 minutes. No WordPress needed.

What You'll Build

    A professional accounting website with:
  • Service pages for tax, bookkeeping, and advisory
  • Client intake form connected to a database
  • Credentials, certifications, and team bios
  • SEO-optimized pages for local search and AI engines
  • Mobile-responsive design that conveys trust and expertise

Tool: Lovable (no coding needed) Time: ~30 minutes Cost: Free tier to start

Step 1: Why Not WordPress?

WordPress needs hosting, plugins, security updates, and a developer when things break. Lovable generates a real website from a text description — no code, no maintenance, no server management. You own the code and can export to GitHub anytime.

Step 2: Describe Your Site

Go to lovable.dev → New Project. Paste this prompt and customize the brackets:

text
Build a professional accounting firm website for [Firm Name], a [type — e.g., CPA firm, tax advisory practice, bookkeeping service] serving [target clients — e.g., small businesses, freelancers, startups, individuals] in [City, State].

Pages needed:
- Home: Professional hero section with firm name, headline "[Your Tagline — e.g., Expert Tax & Accounting Services for Small Businesses]", and a "Schedule a Consultation" CTA button. Below, show 4 core service cards with icons ([Tax Preparation], [Bookkeeping], [Business Advisory], [Payroll Services]), a trust section with credentials (CPA, EA) and years in business, and 2-3 client testimonial quotes.
- Services: Detailed sections for each service ([Individual Tax Preparation], [Business Tax Planning], [Monthly Bookkeeping], [Payroll & Compliance], [CFO Advisory], [IRS Representation]). Each includes what's covered, who it's for, pricing model (e.g., "Starting at $X" or "Custom quote"), and a "Get Started" CTA.
- About: Firm history, team bios with photo placeholders, CPA/EA credentials, education, professional memberships ([AICPA], [State CPA Society]), and your approach to client relationships.
- Resources: Tax deadline calendar for the current year, a checklist of documents needed for tax prep, and links to IRS resources. Include a section for blog posts (placeholder for 2-3 articles like "5 Tax Deductions Small Businesses Miss").
- Contact: Client intake form with name, email, phone, business name (optional), service needed dropdown, annual revenue range dropdown ([Under $100K], [$100K-$500K], [$500K-$1M], [$1M+]), current accounting software, and message. Include office address, phone, and hours.

Design: Professional, trustworthy, conservative. White and [dark green / navy] color scheme with subtle [gold / teal] accents. Clean lines, structured layout, strong headings. Serif headings for authority, sans-serif body text for readability.

SEO: Add proper meta titles and descriptions to every page. Include an XML sitemap, robots.txt, and AccountingService/LocalBusiness schema markup. Target "accountant in [city]", "CPA [city]", and "small business accounting [city]" keywords.

Mobile responsive. Fast loading. Click-to-call phone number on mobile.

Checkpoint: Lovable generates a full preview with all pages in the sidebar.
