Build a Musician Website — No Coding Required

Build a musician website without coding using Lovable. Music player, tour dates, EPK, booking forms, and SEO — live in 30 minutes. No WordPress needed.

What You'll Build

    A professional musician website with:
  • Music player or embedded tracks section
  • Tour dates and upcoming shows listing
  • Electronic press kit (EPK) with bio and photos
  • Booking inquiry form connected to a database
  • Mobile-responsive design for fans on any device

Tool: Lovable (no coding needed) Time: ~30 minutes Cost: Free tier to start

Step 1: Why Not WordPress?

WordPress needs hosting, plugins, security updates, and a developer when things break. Lovable generates a real website from a text description — no code, no maintenance, no server management. You own the code and can export to GitHub anytime.

Step 2: Describe Your Site

Go to lovable.dev → New Project. Paste this prompt and customize the brackets:

text
Build a modern musician website for [Artist / Band Name], a [genre — e.g., indie rock band, jazz pianist, electronic producer, singer-songwriter] based in [City, State].

Pages needed:
- Home: Full-width hero with artist/band name, tagline "[Your Tagline — e.g., New Album 'Midnight Waves' Out Now]", and two CTA buttons: "Listen Now" and "Tour Dates". Below, show an embedded Spotify/SoundCloud player placeholder, 2-3 latest news items (new release, upcoming show, press feature), and social media links (Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
- Music: Discography section showing albums/EPs/singles in reverse chronological order. Each release shows cover art placeholder, title, release year, and streaming links (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music). Include an embedded player section for featured tracks.
- Tour: Upcoming shows in a list format with date, venue name, city, and "Get Tickets" button for each. Include a "No shows nearby? Join the mailing list" email signup form. Past shows section below with dates collapsed.
- About/EPK: Full artist bio (short version and long version), high-res photo gallery (4-6 press photos as placeholders), genre, influences, achievements, press quotes, and technical rider summary. Include a downloadable EPK section with links to assets.
- Contact: Booking inquiry form with name, email, organization/venue, event type ([Festival], [Private Event], [Club Show], [Corporate]), event date, budget range, and message. Separate section for press inquiries and general fan messages.

Design: Bold, artistic, music-industry aesthetic. [Dark theme] with [accent color — e.g., deep purple, neon red, electric blue]. Full-bleed images, dramatic typography, cinematic feel. Use a distinctive display font for the artist name.

SEO: Add proper meta titles and descriptions to every page. Include an XML sitemap, robots.txt, and MusicGroup/MusicEvent schema markup. Target "[artist name] official website" and "[genre] artist [city]" keywords.

Mobile responsive. Fast loading. Sticky music player bar on mobile.

Checkpoint: Lovable generates a full preview with all pages in the sidebar.
