Build a Job Board Website — No Coding Required

Build a job board website without coding using Lovable. Job listings, filters, application forms, and SEO — live in 35 minutes. No WordPress needed.

What You'll Build

A professional job board website with:
  • Job listings with search and category filters
  • Individual job detail pages with apply buttons
  • Application form connected to a database
  • SEO-optimized pages for Google and AI search engines
  • Mobile-responsive design for job seekers on any device

Tool: Lovable (no coding needed) Time: ~35 minutes Cost: Free tier to start

Step 1: Why Not WordPress?

WordPress needs hosting, plugins, security updates, and a developer when things break. Lovable generates a real website from a text description — no code, no maintenance, no server management. You own the code and can export to GitHub anytime.

Step 2: Describe Your Site

Go to lovable.dev → New Project. Paste this prompt and customize the brackets:

text
Build a modern job board website for [Board Name — e.g., RemoteDesignJobs, ClimateTechCareers, LocalStartupJobs].

Pages needed:
- Home: Hero section with headline "[Your Tagline — e.g., Find Remote Design Jobs at Top Startups]", a search bar with keyword and location inputs, and a "Browse Jobs" CTA. Below, show 5-6 latest job listings and a section of featured company logos.
- Jobs: Job listing page with a search bar at the top and filter sidebar for category ([Engineering], [Design], [Marketing], [Operations]), job type ([Full-time], [Part-time], [Contract], [Remote]), and experience level. Each listing card shows job title, company name, location, salary range, and posting date.
- Job Detail: Individual job page with company logo, job title, company name, location, salary range, job type badge, full description, requirements list, benefits list, and a prominent "Apply Now" button that opens the application form.
- Post a Job: Form for employers with company name, company website, job title, category, job type, location, salary range, and full description textarea. Include pricing info for the listing.
- About: What the job board is about, who it serves, and stats (jobs posted, companies hiring).
- Contact: Form with name, email, and message for general inquiries.

Design: Clean, functional, fast. White background with [accent color — e.g., emerald green] for buttons and highlights. Focus on readability and scan-ability. Sans-serif typography.

SEO: Add proper meta titles and descriptions to every page. Include an XML sitemap, robots.txt, and JobPosting schema markup on job detail pages.

Mobile responsive. Fast loading. Easy-to-scan job cards on mobile.

Checkpoint: Lovable generates a full preview with all pages in the sidebar.
