Still elite for autocomplete, weaker for full vibe workflows

Used for

Added features and bug fixes inside an existing production repo

Copilot remains one of the best completion engines. It feels less complete than newer tools when you want the AI to manage larger chunks of product work, not just suggest code.

Reliable assistant, not the best product builder

Used it for pair-programming style edits in VS Code

Copilot is easy to trust for smaller coding moves. It is less compelling if your comparison point is Cursor, Claude Code, or another tool built around bigger agentic tasks.
